Breath is life, it is the most important function in our life. From the yoga side, proper breathing provides more oxygen and blood to our brain and controls the life energy or Prana. Pranayama Yoga should also be in harmony with the movements. Since the principles of yoga encompass both the body and the mind, it is considered the highest form of purification and self-discipline.
Therefore, Pranayama means “breath technique” or “breath control”. It consists of some exercises that cover the needs of the body and aim to be healthy. Ideally, this practice of opening the life energy is not only done for the purpose of healthy breathing. The purpose is to prepare the yoga practitioner for meditation.
Another preparation method is through integration with sound. Just as there are 7 holes in a flute, there are 7 basic nerve nodes in the human spinal cord. Each neuron represents a note. Through this course, one will realize that the human body is an instrument and will experience how this instrument can be used. It will harmonize with the rhythm and melody of the universe and will adapt to the rhythm of life. Everything is vibration and we can feel these vibrations and be in tune with it. Then other melodies will begin to play in our lives.
It is entirely in our hands to change the music that is constantly playing in our lives.
